Cedar Salmon Artist Reception

On September 25, fellow POBL member Sarah Waller and the rest of the Friends of the Cedar River Watershed hosted an elegant wine and cheese reception at the Burke Museum to unveil ten beautiful and unique lifesize salmon decorated by Seattle area artists as a benefit to the Friends group and to help bring attention to the plight of local salmon runs. The cedar salmon have since swum on to the Renton Library where they are now on display and will eventually be auctioned off to benefit the Friends of the Watershed.
This photo is a bit dark (sorry) but the salmon certainly shine! Sarah's is above on the far left, mine (Suzy's) is on the far right.
Thanks, Sarah!
